Plane strikes light pole while taxiing at GSP

A Delta plane struck a light pole with its wing while taxiing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

The flight, Delta flight 1779, was scheduled to fly to Atlanta, Wednesday night.

The plane, an MD-88, is undergoing inspection and will not fly tonight, according to Rosylin Weston, VP Communications for GSP.

There were no reports of any injuries.
