Car found after 2 hurt in Anderson Co. hit-and-run; still looking for driver

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C.- 

Update: Highway Patrol says they have found the vehicle Friday that was involved in a hit a run that hurt two people Tuesday. They are still looking for the driver.

Original Story:

Two people were injured on Highway 24 after they were hit by a car while standing in the median in Anderson County.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says one of the people injured is a wrecker driver and the other was a pedestrian.

The incident happened shortly around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday near Abercrombie Road in Anderson.

Troopers are looking for a burgundy 2000-2006 Toyota Corolla 4-door that is missing its driver’s side mirror.

Both of the victims were taken to the hospital, according to troopers.

RCR Towing is offering a $500 reward to whoever gives information leading to the arrest of the person that did the hit-and-run and injured the driver from Action Towing and the customer.
