McDowell County deputies say they’ve charged a convicted felon with having a gun and marijuana.
Jeremiah Delane Honeycutt, 38, of Ramsey Drive in Nebo, is charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon and misdemeanor possession of up to ½ ounce marijuana.
Deputies say on February 12th, they responded to a trespassing on Ramsey Drive around 6:30am.
When Honeycutt arrived, a deputy says he saw a gun in Honeycutt’s car and knew he was a convicted felon.
Deputies say after searching Honeycutt, they found 2.5 grams of marijuana in his pocket.
