Son exposes mom to meth, killing her says Honea Path Police

A man from Honea Path has been charged with the death of his mother by exposing her to meth.

Honea Path police say Tommy Ray Robinson, Jr., 52, is charged with Abuse or Neglect Resulting in Death – Vulnerable Adult, along with other various drug charges.

We’re told 69-year-old Evelyn Anne Robinson died in a hospice house on February 23rd.

The coroner says she tested positive for meth.

Robinson was arrested at his home on Morrison Drive by Honea Path Police and Anderson County Deputies.

His bond hearing is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday.
