Coroner IDs man killed in crash on Clemson Blvd. in Oconee Co.

A 66-year-old man from Seneca has died after a car crash.

Four other people involved in the accident were hurt and taken to the hospital.

Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Clemson Blvd. Tuesday around 2:10 p.m.

The driver, Tommy Edward Roach, was driving with his family. They were leaving “Paws Diner” when they were struck on the driver’s side of their 2003 Chevy Malibu. The Oconee County coroner says Roach later died at the hospital.

Troopers say the other family members were taken to Oconee Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

The driver of the other car involved was also taken to the hospital.
