GREENVILLE – Investigators say the body of a man found in a pond in Greer is Adam Dean Worley. He had been reported missing for a month.
The Greenville County Coroner confirms Worley’s remains were found in the water Thursday afternoon on Fisher Road. The cause of death is pending additional investigation.
The coroner estimates Worley, 36, died on the afternoon of February 9. The sheriff’s office had asked for help to find Worley after he was reported missing.
He was last seen on Fisher Road near Jug Road.
Worley’s girlfriend reported him missing around 1:00 a.m. on February 9. The coroner estimates Worley died later that day sometime between 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Family members had organized additional searches to try and find him.
Police say missing Asheville man, Arthur Earl “Bubba” Sutton, was found safe in Greenville, SC and is no longer considered missing.
UPDATE: Missing woman Lisa Kirby has been found safe, according to the McDowell Co. Sheriff’s Office.
