If you’re looking for things to do this weekend, here’s what you need to know!
The 5th annual St. Paddy’s Day Dash and Bash is this Saturday. The 5K starts at 9AM followed by an after party that includes a costume contest, silent auction, Kids’ Fun Run, kids’ games, bounce houses, face painting, vendor booths, live music, food and free baseball tournament! The event benefits local children’s charities. This year’s beneficiaries include GHS Children’s Hospital, Legacy Charter School, Make-A-Wish S.C., Let There Be Mom and Camp Spearhead.
Also on Saturday, the Greenville County Sheriff’s office is holding a community day from 10AM – 2PM. This family event will be held at the Runway Cafe at the downtown Greenville airport, where you can meet deputies and their families. Plus, you can tour their many cars, helicopters, armored cars, motorcycles and more!
On Sunday there will be a St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Greenville. It kicks off at 2PM on Main Street at Broad Street. The parade will be followed by an Irish festival complete with Irish music, dancing, food and drinks! The event lasts until 6PM.
