Michaela Blanton Lowe will never forget the day her husband died in 2008. Life changes forever.
She says community support and prayers are the essential ingredients for a spouse facing the devastation of a line of duty death.
Shaun Blanton, had been on the North Carolina highway patrol for 2 years, when he died after being shot during a traffic stop. Their son Tye was in neonatal intensive care – just 17 days old. Sadly for Michaela her baby died four months later.
