Fatal tanker truck fire melts, closes roads in Greenville Co.

SC Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal tanker truck fire in Greenville County.

At least one person is dead in the truck fire on Cooley Bridge Road and Holiday Dam Road.

They have not released the name of the victim.

Firefighters say the truck was carrying 8,100 gallons of gasoline.

Troopers say that Cooley Bridge Road is blocked between Holiday Dam Road and Butterick Road and will be closed until at least Monday.

They say the road is melted and will need repairs.
