Asheville, NC – Robert Lewis Robinson has been charged with 55 Counts of Animal Cruelty according to Asheville Police.
They say on Thursday, March 24th the Asheville Police Department Animal Services Division was contacted by a local animal hospital to report two cases of possible animal abuse and neglect.
Animal Services and Criminal Investigations Divisions of the Asheville Police Department, with the assistance of the Asheville Humane Society, seized 55 dogs from the residence of Ronald Lewis Robinson on Midland Drive.
Police say the dogs are currently under the care of the Asheville Humane Society, REACH Animal Hospital and other local veterinary services providers.
The Asheville Police Department Animal Services Division is dedicated to investigating any and all reports of animal neglect and abuse within our community.
