iMagine Upstate Festival is coming back to downtown Greenville for a second year and organizations have a healthy competition to make it bigger and better than last year.
The festival draws more than a thousand people and highlights the STEAM curriculum or Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
Companies like Bosch, Scansource and Clemson University, BMW and Maserati will have booths to showcase new products and features.
Organizers also said you should be prepared to share the streets with drones and robots.
There will be lots of 3-d printers, virtual reality headsets; we will be augmenting a live drone feed using a controller table with local groups in the area. It’s all local people doing amazing things,” said Director Sarah Arbogast.
By using the iMAGINE Upstate app you can schedule your day, find age or grade specific shows or demonstrations for kids and you’ll have a chance to win prizes.
“It’s to really showcase what the upstate has. We have a lot of amazing things here; amazing companies and we’re really bringing them to the streets to show the community what are the opportunity, what should you go to school for any why are we a part of this community,” said Arbogast.
