‘Imagine Upstate’ on tap for Greenville Saturday

More than 70 STEAM, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics related organizations will line downtown Greenville and inside Flour Field this weekend.

Organizers are preparing for Imagine Upstate in Greenville, sponsored by ScanSource.  It’s the second year for the free festival in the West End of downtown Greenville.  The program is part of the state’s Coalition for Mathematics and Science at Clemson and focuses on exposing children to science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) in the upstate.

Last year 14,000 people were there with more than 61 exhibitors and 16 live shows.  It runs from South Main Street to Markley Street and Fluor Field.

The following roads will be closed
·         South Main Street, from South Markley Street to Augusta Street
·         Field Street, from South Markley Street to Augusta Street
