Tonight Spartanburg’s Morgan Square comes alive for the first Jazz on the Square. The free Jazz concerts are held from 5:30 until 8 PM every Friday night in April and May.
On Saturday Zoom Through the Zoo is celebrating it’s third year in downtown Greenville. The Greenville Zoo Foundation’s annual fundraiser and the only 5K race that tracks through the Greenville Zoo starts at 8:30AM Saturday morning. The 5K is expecting hundreds to participate.
The following streets will be closed to make way for the race. They won’t reopen until the event ends at 10 AM.

South Carolina Comicon is this weekend at the TD Convention Center in Greenville. You can check out your favorite creators in comics and celebrity guests from 10 AM until 6 PM on Saturday and noon until 6 PM on Sunday. Guests can enjoy games, toys, collectibles and contests. Two day passes cost $20, Saturday tickets are $15 and Sunday tickets are only $10. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult and you can get your tickets online or at the door.
