The latest U.S. jobs report shows the economy added 215,000 jobs in March, according to the White House.
The White House released the report Friday morning. It says the jobs added in March extends the longest streak of private-sector job growth on record.
The unemployment rate ticked up to 5% in March.
The report states while March’s job growth speaks to the strength of the economy, more work needs to be done to drive wage growth, including job training and raising the minimum wage.
