A North Carolina man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman after police say he repeatedly rammed another car resulting in the death of a woman.
42-year-old Christopher Eugene Self of Vale, North Carolina was arrested and charged with murder after the hit-and-run crash on March 12.
According to the arrest warrants, Self rammed the victim’s car multiple times causing the victim’s car to hit a tree.
The crash happened on Masters Boulevard in the Homeland Park community.
41-year-old Karen Denise Lyon-Hampton died March 25 as a result of a head injury sustained in the crash.
According to the warrants, Self was identified by witnesses and confessed to the crime.
Three other people were injured in the crash.
Self was arrested in Lincoln County, North Carolina around 6pm Wednesday.
