Four students at Anderson Co. Alternative School were taken to the hospital after a staff member saw them acting strangely, according to school director Randolph Dillingham.
He says the bootcamp staff member said the girls were acting disoriented, staggering and slurring their words.
He doesn’t know what the students may have taken.
EMS took them to the hospital.
There is no word on their condition right now, but he says he is very concerned.
Another girl and a boy, who were not acting strangely, had pills in their possession, according to Dillingham.
He says the students aren’t in custody, but that doesn’t mean charges won’t be filed.
The school was put on lockdown to keep everyone in place so they could search the school and students.
