WILLIAMSTON, SC (WSPA) – Palmetto Middle School in Williamston will be closed Friday as crews work to repair a sewer line under the school.
According to Anderson County School District One, a small leak was found in the waste water line running under the foundation of the school Wednesday after maintenance workers noticed the smell of waste water.
Crews will work to repair the sewer line throughout the weekend and hope to have it completed by Monday to reopen the school.
