TRAVELERS REST, SC (WSPA) – A Travelers Rest man pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the death of his 4-and-a-half-month-old stepson, according to the Greenville County Solicitor’s Office.
Kyle David Hitchcock was sentenced to 15 years in prison for which he will have to serve 85% of the sentence before he is eligible for parole.
The boy, Kyle Bentley Hitchcock, was found not breathing and unresponsive on May 17, 2015 and died at the hospital on May 18. His stepfather was arrested the next day.
