NCAA Rules Lattimore Can’t Work With SC Football

Former USC star running back Marcus Lattimore could likely fulfill a variety of responsibilities working in an administrative role on the South Carolina football staff but the NCAA has ruled that Lattimore is ineligible to do such, according to The State newspaper.

At the root of the issue is that Lattimore’s charitable foundation puts him in the position of working at camps and functions that could attract potential USC recruits.  Thus, the rules say no paid staff member at a member school can work in such a capacity.

Lattimore remains an ambassador with the university.
