A man from Moore is under arrest after deputies say he broke into a home, forcing a 65-year old woman to hide in a bathroom.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says Zachary Hastings, 23, is being held at the detention center after breaking into the home in Twin Lakes Tuesday night.
The woman who lives there hid in a bathroom and called 911. We’re told Hastings was trying to steal jewelry and a gun from the home.
He apparently jumped out of a window to leave and that’s where deputies were waiting. He was arrested.
No specific charges against Hastings are listed on the Spartanburg County Detention Center website as of Wednesday morning.
