Driver ticketed after hitting pedestrian in downtown Greenville

One person is hurt after being hit by a car near a parking garage in downtown Greenville.

Greenville Police say the victim was crossing the street near the Richardson St. parking garage when they were hit. The vehicle was turning left from College Street onto Richardson St and the driver did not see the pedestrian in the cross walk.

The driver, Robert Nortman, was cited for failure to yield.

The victim was taken to the Greenville Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
