Madison County Sheriff’s Office says they received several threats of violence directed towards Madison High School over the past few weeks.
The school was closed today because of the threats.
The first threat was discovered on Wednesday 05/11/2016.
The Sheriffs Office has conducted several searches of the school since then.
Three students have been arrested for Felony conspiracy.
They say the students conspired to, and planned out an act of violence directed towards the school and staff.
They searched the High School for any signs of threats on Thursday.
Bomb techs and several specialist were on the scene to assist with the search.
Madison High School will resume normal operation on Friday 05/20/2016.
All suspects were placed in secure custody awaiting their court date. T
They say the investigation is still ongoing.
