Fallen trees, power lines leave customers without power

A Duke Energy worker repairs a power outage in Spartanburg.

SPARTANBURG (WSPA)– Less than a thousand Duke Energy customers in the upstate are without power Thursday morning.

There have been several reports of trees down.  Our 7 News crew caught up with a lineman repairing a power outage on Bethesda Road.  414 customers were in the dark because of power lines that were down in this area.

According to Duke Energy’s outage map, there are scattered outages across Spartanburg, Anderson and Greenville County.
