First round co-leader Matt Fast continued atop the leaderboard, and still in a tie, through Friday’s second round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am.
Fast shot a -5/67 to move to -13 and is tied with Taiwan native Cheng Tsung Pan, who fired a -9/63 at The Reserve, the same course where Fast played Friday.
Two players are tied for third place at -12, and each played Friday at The Preserve At Verdae. Former USC-Aiken golfer Matt Atkins shot a -6/66 while Californian Brandon Hagy scored -5/67.
Among the locals in the hunt, former Gameoccks and Web.com Tour money leader Wesley Bryan stands three strokes off the pace after a -6/66 at The Reserve Friday and among those he’s tied with is Furman alumn and Greenville resident Matt Davidson, who shot a -4/68 at The Reserve Friday.
Former Clemson golfer Jonathan Byrd’s -1/71 at The Preserve Friday puts him at -7, one behind former USC golfer Mark Silvers, who fired a -3/69 at The Reserve Friday.
