GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Two more students at Southside High School have been charged in connection with the accidental shooting on May 13th.
A 16-year-old student was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm on School Property after deputies say the student had multiple opportunities to turn the gun in to authorities but did not.
Another 16-year-old was arrested after illegally selling the gun used in the shooting while off of school campus, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Two students were already charged after a gun inside a backpack fired and struck a student.
17-year-old Braylin Scott was arrested and charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Carrying a Weapon on School Property, and Disturbing School. According to warrants, Braylin took the gun after the accidental shooting.
The injured student was also charged with the same charges, according to deputies.
