3 arrested after home invasion in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON, SC (WSPA) – Three people have been arrested and charged after a home invasion Thursday afternoon on Hales Drive.

Ladarias Strickland, Marquis Miller, and Malik Hagood are all charged with First Degree Burglary, two counts of Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.

The home invasion happened just before 3pm on Thursday. Three people were in the house at the time. The suspects took cell phones from two victims and fired a shot inside the house before leaving in a green car, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say no one was injured by gunfire.

home-invasion-plez-uThe three were arrested in front of the Plez U convenience store on Orr Street in Anderson about 30 minutes after the home invasion.

Strickland, Miller, and Hagood are being held in the Anderson County Detention Center.
