4 dogs die in suspicious fire in Spartanburg Co. say officials

UNA, SC (WSPA)- Firefighters worked to put a fire in Spartanburg County, Friday.

The fire was reported shortly before 2 a.m.

Witnesses say they heard several explosions before seeing the house burst into flames.

Everyone in the home made it out okay.

The fire chief says 6 dogs were in the house; 4 died in the fire and two were saved.

The house is destroyed and the chief says Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Deputies are on scene to investigate this fire as arson.
