SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – A man fell out of a pickup truck on E Blackstock Rd. and Reidville Rd. on Thursday, according to Spartanburg Police. Officers say it happened around 7:30 p.m.
When police got there, they found a shirtless man on the pavement with blood coming from the back of his head.
Witnesses say the man fell out of the back of the truck.
EMS thought he was on drugs and had also been drinking alcohol.
Police say he ordered his daughter to drive him home.
She said he sat on a lawn chair, in the back of the truck, while it was moving.
He fell off of the vehicle at the intersection.
The hospital says his injuries were not life-threatening.
