CHEROKEE COUNTY (WSPA) – More than 250 motorcyclists hit the road Saturday morning to raise money for cancer at the 12th annual Sheriff’s Ride for the Relay.
The ride takes motorcyclists across the Upstate on a 180 mile ride.
The ride started after a former Sheriff’s wife was diagnosed with cancer.
Since then, participants have raised more than $100,000 for the American Cancer Society.
If you missed the ride but would still like to donate, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office will be selling t-shirts throughout the month of June.
You can also drop off or mail monetary donations to the sheriff’s office at 312 East Frederick St. Gaffney, SC 29340.
