WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton has won the Democratic presidential primaries in New Jersey and New Mexico, adding to her lead in pledged delegates and contests won over rival Bernie Sanders.
Donald Trump won the Republican presidential primary in New Jersey, further cementing his hold on the GOP nomination amid new criticisms of his attacks on a federal judge of Mexican descent.
Trump also won the GOP presidential primaries in South Dakota, New Mexico, and Montana.
Bernie Sanders won the Democratic presidential caucuses in North Dakota.
The Associated Press declared Clinton the presumptive nominee on the eve of Tuesday’s election in half a dozen states, but Sanders has vowed to fight on until all the superdelegates are allocated. Clinton leads Sanders both in pledged delegates and superdelegates.
