Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day tomorrow at Chimney Rock State Park! From 11 until 3 they will have lots of outdoor activities, like a live animal program and a French and Indian War reenactment. Don’t forget to pack a picnic and stick around that night because they’ll be showing the Last of the Mohicans on a giant outdoor movie screen. The Movie will start at 9PM. It’s $8 for annual pass holders or free with a same-day park admission receipt.
In downtown Greenville tomorrow, the Native Clique Festival comes to town. You can check out local vendors and businesses that sell vintage goods. So there will be lots of shopping but that’s not all…they’ll have food trucks, live local bands and a kid’s zone. Your pets are welcome too! That’s happening tomorrow from 10 until 6 on Coffee Street, and it’s free!
Surround yourself with hundreds of butterflies at the Roper Mountain Science Center. The Butterfly Festival kicks off a four week exhibits tomorrow. You can learn everything you could ever want to know about butterflies. There will also be crafts and demonstrations. It starts at 9 AM tomorrow and wraps at 3. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for kids and free for kids under three.
