4 arrested after cocaine bust in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON CO., SC (WSPA) – Anderson County Deputies arrested four people in two cars after they found seven kilograms of cocaine in the vehicles.

34-year-old Jose Bustamante and 22-year-old Samuel Olivares of Houston, Texas and 33-year-old Jaime Bustamante Roman and 32-year-old Jorge Jorge Texco-Dorantes of Marietta, Georgia were all charged with Trafficking Cocaine.

Sheriff John Skipper says the value of the cocaine had a street value of close to $700,000.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations stopped the two cars, a GMC Sierra with Texas plates and a Mazda with Georgia plates, Wednesday afternoon on Interstate Boulevard near exit 19 of Interstate 85.
