Family, friends honor USC Upstate student killed in car crash

COWPENS (WSPA) – Nearly a year after four USC Upstate students were killed in a car crash, family and friends came together to remember one of the victims.

Joshua Lee was one of four student athletes killed in a car crash in October 2015.

Saturday morning, family and friends came together for the inaugural Joshua Lee Memorial 5K.

Proceeds from the run will go towards the Joshua Lee Memorial Scholarship set up at USC Upstate.

Scholarship criteria include: be a member of cross-country or track team, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and completed 30 credit hours at USC Upstate.
