BUFFALO (WIVB) — A 7-month-old infant has died after she and two others were hit by a car Sunday night.
Just before 9:45 p.m. on the 300 block of Moselle Street, a southbound car hit the baby’s stroller, her mother and cousin, and then a tree before coming to a stop not far away.
The baby girl, identified as Nyree Anderson, was taken to ECMC where she later died. Her mother and cousin suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they have not been able to speak with the baby’s mother, as she has been too distraught over the whole situation.
The driver, a 44-year-old man, has not been charged.
A man who lives at the home behind the crash tells News 4 he heard a loud bang, and saw people coming towards to crash in an effort to try and help out.
Police are now looking for security video that may have been captured by neighbors as they investigate the matter.
