Thieves stole $60K worth of phones at Haywood Mall say police

GREENVILLE (WSPA) – Greenville Police are asking for help to identify two men who they say broke into a kiosk at Haywood Mall and stole $60,000 worth of cell phones.

Photos of the suspects from the Saturday night theft were released by investigators. We’re told the two men went into the Sprint kiosk and opened the safe with some kind of tool.

We’re told they put several LG, Apple and Samsung phones into trash bags and then left the mall heading toward the exit near Cheesecake Factory.

One man was described as late teens to early 20’s and wearing a white t-shirt, red shorts with red and white Nike shoes.

The other man is believed to be in his teens to early 20’s, wearing a white, blue and gray hooded sweatshirt with red short under khaki pants and white sneakers.

Greenville Police are asking for anyone with information related to this incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
