1 treated for possible rabies after cat attack in Oconee Co.

WALHALLA, S.C. (WSPA) – One person in West Union is being treated after being potentially exposed to rabies after a cat attack.

DHEC says the person was attacked by a stray cat on June 22.

Animal Control officers found a rabid cat in the area of Main St. and Torrington Rd. in West Union, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.
