LAURENS CO., SC (WSPA) – A crash on Highway 14 in Laurens County has left one person dead and another is in the hospital.
The crash happened around 3:45pm on Highway 14 when the driver of a 2005 Pontiac, Samuel Sharp, 52 of Laurens, was traveling east tried to turn into a driveway when the car was struck by a 2000 Jaguar, according to Highway Patrol.
Sharp was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where they later died. The driver of the Jaguar was taken to Laurens County Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
Highway Patrol says both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the wreck.
