SPARTANBURG (WSPA) – The Fourth of July wouldn’t be complete without fireworks!
Many people have the day off from work on July 4th, but for fireworks stores, business is booming.
As early as last week, people were filling the aisles of Poor Paul’s Fireworks, stocking up for the weekend of celebrations.
Workers say the busiest days are the day before and the day of July fourth.
Business will double, and even triple this holiday weekend.
Customers are traveling from around the country to buy fireworks, and they’re also placing online orders, which helps boost sales.
In the business of holiday celebrations, the best part is seeing customers getting the bang for their buck.
Since the summer is one of the busiest times of the year for fireworks stores, many open early and stay open late to accommodate for the large number of shoppers.
