UNION, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested after impersonating a law enforcement officer on Santuc Dr., according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident report says that 60-year-old Dennis Allen Candis was carrying 2 guns and knocking on people’s doors Sunday morning, claiming to be a United States Marshall.
When deputies arrived to the scene, Candis stated that he was a U.S. Marshall and was there to arrest someone.
Candis was arrested and is being held at the Union County Jail.
