WOODRUFF, S.C. (WSPA) – A man has been arrested after kidnapping and beating his girlfriend, according to the Woodruff Police Department.
38-year-old Darrell Bradley Lancaster has been charged with kidnapping and first-degree domestic violence, according to an incident report from July 1st.
The victim told Woodruff police that she escaped her boyfriend’s house where she had been assaulted several times and held against her will for several hours.
According to the incident report, Lancaster told the woman that if she didn’t go home with him, he was going to kill her.
Lancaster then hit the woman in the face and neck, and told her she was going to have sex with him, the report says.
When the woman refused, Lancaster assaulted her again.
Lancaster was booked into jail on Friday, where he remains in custody.
