GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Greenville Police say they got 7 calls from a man making bomb threats on Tuesday.
They say one of those locations was the Social Security Administration Office located at 319 Pelham Rd.
The local explosive detection canine teams responded and did not detect explosives in or near the facility.
Police were able to trace the phone calls and identified the man as Ronnie Matthew Vaughn.
Vaughn was arrested without incident on Summit Drive.
Vaughn has been arrested and charged with Bomb/threat, and use of 911 number unlawfully.
As a precaution, the SSA office has decided to close the office for today.
