George Zimmerman punched in face at FL restaurant say police

(WSPA)— George Zimmerman was punched in the face at a Florida restaurant, according to a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office incident report, CBS reports.

Zimmerman told deputies that he had a conversation with some people at Gators Riverside Grille when a man accused him of bragging about the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, which Zimmerman was acquitted.

According to the incident report, Zimmerman was explaining to people sitting at the table that he shot Martin in self-defense.

Deputies say Zimmerman told the man that he wasn’t bragging and then the man walked away, CBS reports.

Moments later, a fight escalated when Zimmerman was punched in the face, according to the report, CBS reports.

The report says restaurant staff separated the two parties and the man left.

CBS reports, that the man has not been arrested.
