LAKE LURE, NC (WSPA) – The 7th annual Dirty Dancing festival starts Friday, Aug. 19th and lasts through Saturday.
The festival says there will be live beach and soul music, dance lessons, watermelon games and performances by the Asheville Ballet.
There will be a Lake Lift and Shag competitions, a performance from the Lake Lure Cloggers and Charlie Stone from the Charlie vs. Swayze YouTube video.
$10 children 12 and under
WHERE: Morse Park Meadows, Lake Lure, N.C.
WHEN: Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 from 4 p.m. until the end of film that evening – movie will start at sunset. Festival continues Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
