GREENVILLE (WSPA) – Nearly 95 percent of buses in Greenville County arrived at school on time Tuesday for the first day of classes.
A Greenville County School District spokesperson reports 24 out of 361 buses – 6.6 percent – arrived at school late. A late bus is defined as arriving more than 15 minutes behind schedule.
We’re told break downs and traffic issues were reported as the problems that delayed those buses.
The school district reports there has been a light level of calls to the transportation department hotline Tuesday morning.
