HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – A teen was shot and killed at a party in Goose Creek, S.C. Sunday morning.
The coroner says Kyle David Shirlin, 19, of Hendersonville, was found lying in the yard dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Goose Creek Police Department.
On Sunday, Shirlin’s mother, Karen, posted on Facebook, saying “death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal…”
No arrests have been made.
Henderson Co. Schools say Shirlin was a 2015 graduate of Hendersonville High School.
