PICKENS, S.C. (WSPA) – A company that makes automated machinery and equipment for the manufacturing sector is expanding its facility in Pickens, creating 56 new jobs.
JR Automation Technologies LLC announced it is the newest addition to the Pickens County Commerce Park.
The expansion will result in a capital investment of $3.4 million.
The jobs will pay $20 to $48/hour and construction is expected to begin late 2016.
The company is a designer and manufacturer of capital equipment for the automotive, aerospace, medical device, consumer products, apparel and pharmaceutical industries.
