WOODRUFF, S.C. (WSPA) – Several people have been passing around Motion Picture $100.00 bills in the city of Woodruff, according to the Woodruff Police Department.
The fake bills are made to look like real money, but are designed to be used only by the movie industry.
The bills clearly state “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY” on the front and back.
When you are given any type of money, make sure you know what security features to look for.
If you are given a fake bill, you should not give it back to the person who gave it to you. Instead, you should contact law enforcement immediately.
