Seneca parolee had stolen gun say deputies

WALHALLA, S.C. (WSPA) – A man was arrested and charged for receiving stolen goods, according Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

A Seneca deputy pulled over 37-year-old Adam Eric Sass on a traffic violation near W. Pine Grove Road at Pine Grove Road.

Deputies say, Sass admitted that he was out of prison on parole and that he had a gun in his car.

The deputy discovered the gun was stolen out of Anderson County.

Sass was arrested and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.

Sass is awaiting bond.
