(CNN) – The CDC is reporting an outbreak of hepatitis A caused by frozen strawberries imported from Egypt, according to CNN.
They are reporting that 55 people in six states were infected.
One of those states is North Carolina.

Hepatitis A is highly contagious viral liver infection, but doesn’t result in chronic infection.
yellowing of the skin or the eyes
loss of appetite
dark urine and light-colored stools.
