STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Bystanders pulled a man from a burning car, after it crashed Sunday evening.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. on CR 300 W, near SR 120 in Steuben County.
According to police, 65-year old Arthur Hausbach, of Fremont, had a medical issue before crashing the car into a tree. The vehicle caught fire.
Bystanders were credited with pulling Hausbach to safety. He was flown by helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital for treatment.
